The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) - Pretty Woman Mask (Vinyl)

I don’t enjoy writing bad reviews but I feel something should be said here. I was so looking forward to these vinyl Leatherface masks but unfortunately I’m very unhappy with them due to the little care taken in the finish. They have a rough textured surface that looks as if they were pulled out of a well-worm plaster mold for latex masks that’s on its last legs. The thickness of the vinyl castings are absolutely amazing and I love them for that, but what’s most important is the final aesthetic and unfortunately they look cheap and low quality. I was very excited about these releases but unfortunately they just don’t do any justice to the character. I wish there had been more care in quality for the final visage of these two masks. Because Trick or Treat Studios doesn’t accept returns, I’ll unfortunately have to think twice when considering other vinyl offerings.
