The Crow was one of the first indie comics I read. Came across James O’Barr’s work in a comic shop when I was in junior high and was instantly hooked. That feeling, of finding a Caliber issue on the shelf and being drawn to it, hit me again when I opened the package for this figure. Cracking the window on the box open left me speechless. Man, this is O’Barr’s art in figure form. I have been sitting here staring at just the in box figure for about 30. I’m going to open it, yes. Have to. But the joy I feel right now, the dose of nostalgia that I’m tripping on… I’m sorry my review can’t help readers with an analysis of articulation or joint construction or color ways. I’m writing to say thank you for this art piece and for reminding me of how it feels to find a comic or artist - or, more so, to feel like they reach out and find you. This is my first Trick or Treat Studios product purchase - it will not be my last. 🐦⬛
